Concept:

You basically turn a 12-hour day into a 24-hour day; a concise method of expressing time. Used by Military, law enforcement, hospitals, firefighting, and among many others. If you're having trouble with Military Time, use this cheat: 6 PM= 6+12=18, add the double zeroes at the end and there you have it, 1800 hours! Military minutes: 2:38 PM= 1438

Writing Military Time:

Hours Minutes Example: 1559 or 1559 hours When you which to show seconds, insert a colon between the minutes and seconds using the format Hours Minutes:Seconds or Hours:Minutes:Seconds Example: 1559:34 or 15:59:34 hours
